Organized and presented by Hong Kong Wind Kamerata, l’Académie de musique française in Hong Kong is a special event promoting music performance, education and cultural exchange. This year, the artists invited are three extraordinary French Wind instrument masters: André Cazalet (horn), Jean-Louis Capezzali (oboe) and Philippe Desgourgues (flute). Together with Hong Kong Wind Kamerata, they will play some of the most loved and charming French Wind Music.

The performance will last for approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes including one interval.
André Cazalet is one of the most prominent hornist in the world, he is now horn soloist of the Orchestre de Paris and professor at the Conservatoire National Superieur de Musique de Paris.
Jean-Louis Capezzali has won multiple international prizes and had served as oboe soloist at the Concert Lamoureux and Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France. He is now professor at the Conservatoire National Superieur de Musique de Lyon and Haute Ecole de Musique in Lausanne.
Philippe Lesgourgues is formerly flute soloists at the Ensemble Intercontemporain and Ensemble Erwatung, he is now professor at the Ecole Normale de Musique and artistic director of the Academie Internationale de Musique de Biarritz.
Hong Kong Wind Kamerata features Hong Kong’s most talented wind players who are dedicated to promoting the rich wind repertoire throughout the region. They have toured to Switzerland, Tokyo, Beijing, Shanghai, Taiwan, New York City and have appeared in important festivals at home and abroad. The group has collaborated with a number of world class artists.
