“Vivre la Cheongsam” features mannequins dressed up in French-inspired cheongsams to showcase the crossover between the cultural heritage of Chinese cheongsam and the deep and influential history of France. These designs were informed by the finesse and avant-garde art practices of French music, haute couture fashion & fabrics and gastronomy. The artworks seek to weave these distinctive French influence into the subtle and captivating elegance of cheongsams when the two cultures come together.
